Our Hands on Home Chef students learn to cook in the
same fully-equipped instructional kitchens as our Professional
Students. Courses last from 2 to 4 hours. Students should wear
comfortable shoes and come prepared to cook.
Learn to use a very important tool in any kitchen - your knife! Slice, dice, and julienne your way to culinary perfection as one of our Chef Instructors teaches you the proper way to use, sharpen, and care for your knifes. The class is from 10am-noon.

Learning to use your knives and care for them is crucial to success in the kitchen. Your SDCI staff Chef Instructor will lead this class in Basic Knife Skills where you will learn to slice, dice, chop, julienne, and do other cuts, just like the pros! You’ll also learn how to sharpen and care for your knives as well. |
