Our Hands on Home Chef students learn to cook in the same fully-equipped instructional kitchens as our Professional Students. Courses last from 2 to 4 hours. Students should wear comfortable shoes and come prepared to cook.

 

SDCI presents wine authority Martin Weiner in two classes that pair fine wines with dinner menus prepared by one of our Chef Instructors. Compare French and California wines and learn about regional Italian wines in these exciting classes.

Wine Tasting Shootout: California vs. France Oct 16 $175.00

Learn wine basics in a relaxed setting from one of America's noted wine authorities, Martin Weiner. Compare the fine wines of Napa and Sonoma with those of France's Bordeaux, Champagne, Rhone, etc. regions while feasting on a multi-course meal prepared by SDCI's Chef Instructors. (PLEASE NOTE: This class is restricted to persons 21 years of age or older.)
 
Wine Tasting: Italian Regional Oct 17 $175.00
7PM - 10PM
This class features wine from Italy's most famous regions including: Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello di Montalcino, Chiant Classico, etc. Join wine authority Martin Weiner and learn about Italy's finest wines, their tastes, grape varietes, and important label information while dining on a traditional multi-course Italian meal. (PLEASE NOTE: This class is restricted to persons 21 years of age or older.)
