Hands-On Home Chef Class Descriptions

 

Chef David Abella – Roy’s of La Jolla


Complete Series, Courses 1 through 3

Take these courses as a series or individually.

Course 1: Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Appetizers (Sat, April 6, 11am)

Learn how to make some of Roy’s famous appetizers and present them.

 

Course 2: Roy’s Dim Sum Appetizers (Sat, April 27, 11am)

Create dim sum style appetizers, learn how to make fillings, folding and rolling different types of Asian appetizers.   

 

Course 3: Roy’s Braised Asian Meats (Sat, May 25, 11am)

This class will deal with the understanding of how to braise meats and flavor them with the taste of Asian style sauces.

 

 

A single course is $125 and includes a SDCI apron.

Menus and topics are subject to change based on the availability of ingredients.
