Hands-On Home Chef Class Descriptions

 

Chef Jeff Rossman – Terra

Complete Series, Courses 1 through 2

Take these courses as a series or individually.

Course 1: San Diego Local Ingredients 1 (Sat, May 4, 11am)

Chef Rossman will take you on a culinary kitchen tour of San Diego and its many local farmers, fishermen and ranchers.  Come prepare food using all local ingredients with a focus on Heirloom tomatoes, chilies and oysters.

 

 

Course 2: San Diego Local Ingredients 2 (Sat, June 22, 11am)

Learn more about the variety of foods grown and raised in San Diego and prepare a gourmet meal.  The focus of this lesson will include tropical fruits, greens, mussels and buffalo.

 

 

A single course is $125 and includes a SDCI apron.

Menus and topics are subject to change based on the availability of ingredients.
